Shanta Holdings, a real estate developer of the country, has launched Shanta Pinnacle, which will be the first 40-storied commercial tower in Dhaka, said a press release. Designed by architect Ehsan Khan, Shanta Pinnacle is due for completion in December 2022, it said.
Shanta Holdings managing director Khondoker Monir Uddin, architect Ehsan Khan, and other senior management of the company launched the project at its head office on Sunday. The structural, MEP and facade designs of the tower are done by Meinhardt Group, said the release. The tower will have 5 basements with mechanical ventilation system for 340 cars. Besides, there will be a modern cafe, rooftop restaurant, 8 high-speed elevators including a fireman’s lift, state-of-the-art firefighting and detection system, 2 pressurized fire stairs, BMS and central security system and a 45 feet high atrium entrance, the release said. It will also be a green building pursuing LEED, with a double-glazed unitized facade system ensuring energy efficiency. This is also the first wind tunnel tested building design in the country by RWDI Singapore, ensuring advanced structural integrity, said the release.
